Hey everyone! This is my first time posting, and I wanted my topic to be something Iknew alot about and wanted other people's input and stuff. I've been thinking lately about people having mental illnesses and how having a mental illness effects family and friends. For my health problem I decided to do bipolar disorder. Since mental illnesses run in my family, and close friends of mine have mental illnesses I thought I should do a project on it. My mother suffers from skitzophrenia and bipolar disorder. It's effected my family and has caused lots of problems. I suffered from clinical depression for years before I was diagnosed. I just wanted to know if their are any other people out there who suffer or know people who suffer from these illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorder, skitsophrenia, ADD, (attention deficite disorder), social anxiety disorder, etc. Just wondering if anyone is in a similar position as me and how they deal with it. Mental illnesses are usually genetic, are caused by tromatic events, or difficult life stresses or pressure. I've felt alone for along time and I just want to know if people are aware of these things that can strongly effect are daily lives. Thanks everyone!
